An Immersive Farm Experience

Step into the rhythm of real homestead life.

This hands-on experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at how a working farm functions day to day. You’ll participate in essential tasks - feeding hay, refreshing water, delivering snacks to goats, chickens, alpacas, and our horse, tending the greenhouse, and even learning the art (and purpose) of mucking stalls.

But this is more than chores.

As we move through the farm, you’ll learn the “why” behind every task - how daily care supports animal health, how manure becomes nutrient-rich compost, how pasture management impacts soil, and how small, intentional decisions create a sustainable ecosystem.

This is an active experience designed for those curious about self-sufficiency, regenerative practices, and what it truly takes to steward land and animals well.

Small group. Real work. Real learning.

Pro tip: This is not the time to dress up — expect mud, hay, and a whole lot of fun.

Time: 1 hour

Cost: $55 per person (2 person min, 6 person maximum)

 A Curated, Small-Group Experience

Looking for a meaningful, hands-on connection with farm animals?

This one-of-a-kind experience offers guided interaction with the animals that shape our working homestead. Each visit is customized based on your interests while thoughtfully structured to ensure a calm, respectful environment for both guests and animals.

Designed for all ages and limited to six participants, this experience typically lasts one hour.

Your Experience May Include:

  • Chickens -  Gather eggs, help distribute feed, and learn how chickens communicate and function within a flock. Discover how natural behaviors, pasture rotation, and daily care support both the birds and the land.

  • Goats - Walk a goat (they’re a little squirrely, but full of personality!), give treats, or simply hang out with the herd. Scratches behind the horns encouraged!

  • Alpacas - Take a calm walk around the property or try a fun alpaca obstacle course (yes, that’s a real thing!).

  • Potbelly Pig - Get to know our clever pig, offer snacks, go on a guided piggy stroll, he might even do a trick for you.

  • Horse - Say hello, offer a treat, and learn a bit about care and behavior of our sassy equine friend.

  • Bees -  Observe our pollinators from a safe distance and gain insight into hive structure, roles within the colony, and the vital work bees do to support gardens and food systems.

A Thoughtful Approach

This is not a petting zoo experience.
It’s an opportunity to understand animal behavior, stewardship, and the interconnected role each species plays on a working homestead.

Small group. Calm environment. Intentional interaction.

If there’s something yo’re especially excited about, simply let us know when booking - we’ll do our best to incorporate it into your visit.

Step beyond the garden gate and into a living, working ecosystem.

This hands-on, small-group experience explores what it truly means to grow food intentionally - from building soil to nurturing seedlings to supporting pollinators. Designed for curious adults and thoughtful learners, each visit is guided by your interests while rooted in the rhythms of a real homestead.

Over the course of one immersive hour, you’ll move through the systems that make sustainable growing possible.

  • Greenhouse Exploration -  Step inside a carefully balanced environment where plants, insects, and soil work together. Learn how we grow without chemicals by encouraging beneficial insects — including ladybugs, native pollinators, and even predatory wasps.

  • Compost & Soil Health -  Discover how alpaca, chicken, and goat manure transform into nutrient-rich compost. Compare fresh inputs to finished “plant gold,” and learn how soil health shapes everything above it.

  • Pollinators Up Close - Observe honeybees in action and explore pollen and insects under magnification. Gain a deeper understanding of how pollinators support not just gardens - but our food systems.

  • Plant Propagation & Seed Magic -  Learn practical skills like seed starting, taking cuttings, and saving seeds for future seasons. Guests may pot up a sproutling to take home and continue the growing process themselves.

  • Farm to Garden Connection -  See how animals and plants support one another, from nitrogen-fixing alfalfa to nutrient cycling through compost.

Designed for Small Groups

This experience is intentionally limited to six participants to allow meaningful conversation, hands-on interaction, and space for questions.

Curious beginners and seasoned gardeners alike will leave with a deeper understanding of how healthy ecosystems are built — and how to replicate pieces of that system at home.
